Planting 350 Trees at DPU Campus
The second phase of Yak Dar’s symposium entails the planting of 350 trees on the Duhok Polytechnic University campus, with the active participation of students, the Peshmerga Center, and DPU students. This effort is focused on enhancing greenery along the sidewalks within the campus, and these trees will be carefully tended to. Goethe Institute has been our donor through Guan Eden program.
Yak Dar symposium
Yak Dar’s first symposium, was discussed both air pollution causes and water problems in two discussion sessions with the support of the “Goethe” Institute. It hosted experts and environmental activists from various parts of the Kurdistan region (Iraq), in Duhok polytechnic camps. The second part of “Yak Dar” symposium focused on planting 350 trees in the institute.
